Meet Alexa Karbin M.S., CCC-SLP

Alexa has a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and a Master of Science degree from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame. Prior to receiving her master’s degree, Alexa has always surrounded herself with the pediatric population prior to higher education as a tutor, nanny, and becoming (the fun) aunt. During her Master's studies she gained experience working in an early childhood development center and multiple public elementary school settings. She discovered her passion for working with the Early Intervention system and pediatric special needs populations early in her career and hasn't looked back! Additionally, Alexa creates free materials for fellow speech pathologists to share tips & tools while staying on top of current evidence based practices. In her free time, Alexa enjoys singing, long walks, practicing yoga, and baking sweet treats for her friends and family to share.
